Our mission
Striding Towards Sustainability
The Life EPICS project is part of the EU’s Life Program - a vital instrument for advancing the EU’s Green Deal goals. EURONICS is proud to be the first and only retailer to receive this prestigious grant from the European Commission.
EPICS (Electronic Products – Impacts on Circular economy and Sustainable development) aims to significantly reduce the environmental footprint of electronic products through three main pillars of action:
1. Training Activities
Improving the sales of more sustainable products and promoting sustainability practices.
2. RepAir and ReLIFE Corners
Facilitating the repair and reuse of electrical products, including the use of 3D printing.
3. Green Sustainability Index
Developing an index for electronic products to encourage the purchase of more sustainable options.
A Europe-Wide Initiative
The first phase of the project is a collaboration between EURONICS GEIE and five Euronics members: Boulanger (France), Euronics Germany, Sinersis (Spain), Euronics Baltic and Euronics Austria.
